The Old Wastewater Treatment Plant was designed by William Heerlein Lindley, built between 1901 and 1906, and remained in operation until 1967. It is an important example of early industrial architecture and engineering. The site preserves its original equipment and underground facilities, illustrating the development of Prague's historical wastewater system. Among its most remarkable features are the original working steam engines dating from 1903. The building has been designated a National Cultural Monument and currentlyhouses the Eco-Technical Museum.
